    Greenbins
    ----------------
"One August evening back in 1988 I was stood outside a building in Manchester, in a queue of people, with a beat filtering through the bricks. I’d never experienced anything like it in my life. That building was the now iconic Hacienda and once I’d handed over my cash and walked through the plastic curtains I was hooked on house music !!"

Greenbins learnt how to mix with being into hip hop from the early eighties so figuring out how to beat mix was his next mission. From 1990 he was a resident DJ with John Jepson for two amazing years at the now legendary Monroes. "We couldn’t believe what we created there from virtually nothing. People queueing from 2pm in the afternoon to make sure they’d get in!" From Monroes other residencies and guest spots came his way. Sequins in Blackpool, Manhattan Heights in Blackburn, Quad Park in Liverpool, Revenge Parties, Blackburn warehouse parties, 808 State Show on Sunset FM, Bowlers at Trafford Park, Manhattans in Southport to name just a handful.

    Dj Malc
    ----------------
Born in Manchester, Malcolm Charles got into house music whilst playing funk nights during the birth of Manchester's music scene. Before long, Manchester became the center of European club culture, spawning such legendary venues as Hacienda, Wigan Pier and Love Junky.
Malc was there from the very very beginning, playing some of the earliest house sets in the late 80s and early 90's.
He was a 12-year resident DJ at the UK's longest running Friday night at Wigan Pier, holding this night together with Lee Turner for 7 years without the aid of any guest DJs, relying solely on their own musical taste and mixing skills.
"It all began back in 89 when the house music scene first started, at this time the night was not actually called Dreaming A Dream, it was however doing exactly what it would do for the next 10 years and that’s play up front dance music and make everybody in the club feel like this was there first night out ever"
In 1990 the 2 main people involved then, Malcolm Charles (Resident DJ) & Phil Hongkins (Club Manager) sat down after loosing a very important DJ, the then very young DJ Welly, and came up with the name Dreaming A Dream, and the night as we know now was born on Nov 1990.
Malc's CV boasts many clubs played over the past years and even includes the status as once 'resident' at Miss Moneypenny's - (the UK's most respected house club). He also closed the 1998 summer Miss Moneypenny's party on the clubbing Mecca 'Ibiza', then again in 1999.

    XTC
    ----------------
Mark started his DJ-ing career at the tender age of 15 playing in places such as Sequins (Blackpool), Fantazia, Mythology and The legendary Hacienda, where in the late 80’s he won the North West DMC DJ Championships. This is when he decided that DJ-ing was his life. He then started producing his own music with his DJ group “The Mix Factory” (of Sunset 102fm) where his mix of the Mix Factory track “Take Me Away” reached number 41 in the UK singles chart and also gained some success in the American charts. As well as producing he has DJ’ed all over the world for example annually in Malia, Ibiza, Brussels and across Europe for some awesome nights such as Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, The Eclipse, Pure X and Fantazia. Mark was also helping to spread the sound of music in the northwest by managing both Spin Inn and Eastern Bloc record shops in Manchester City Centre.

    Rob Thurston
    ----------------
At the age of 15, Rob started buying records and fell in love with everything the early rave scene had to offer, where it all began by playing a set every friday night @ a local youth club alongside one of his best mates.. "On the odd saturday we would go down to a club in wigan with the local boys who set up the lighting system and lazer, ready for the evening when the doors opened.. they were long hours and being in an empty club during the day with decks and monitor speaker proved to be too much to resist!"... Rob started taking his records down to the club when he could and slowly but surely learnt how to mix, one evening a year or so later was given the chance to do the warm up and since then he's never looked back...
The club was 'MAXIMES' and it was a time when the famous 'Back To The Old Skool Nights' where in full prime!
"Old skool became my trade mark and many many years later i'm still loving it as much as i did back then!"
