I don't think I'd be able to fit in my old Bowlers outfits
I'm a bit old for tartan hotpants now. I've still got my chipie trainers somewhere. I do hope its not full of kids in rockports causing fights. Thats not what Bowlers was about. I was at a friends birthday party the other week and one of the organisers was there , who is allowing people ,who are infamous for causing trouble to go, who never went to Bowlers in the first place. I just hope we can recreate the good atmosphere and good times we had back then.

One thing you can count on Julia is that we will be on the lookout all night for the scallies in question. We have a very good doorteam on from Manchester, and the first sign of any trouble, the people in question will be straight out the door! We will not tolerate any trouble causers whatsoever.
The whole point of this event is to give the Bowlers & old skool faithfull, their dream, of being able to attend the reunion that they have been yearning for, for nearly a decade!
We are trying our best to put everything back in place that is in our power, like the dj's and peeps off here who used to attend Bowlers, to recreate the atmosphere, and we'll not let the minority ruin all our efforts....NO WAY!

I can remember the special announcement ( for some reason the 9th of september rings a bell)
There we all are thinking it was a 3 oclock licence or even stu allan becoming resident once again, only to find they were starting to serve beer. In my opinion thats when things started to change for the worse.......
Amen Brother !!!

Where do you buy glow sticks from now?
Soccer Sport/Sports World.
Thats your best bet for cheap glowies. Usually about 60/70p as opppose to Army & Navy stores (£2.50 PER glowie).
I'll be DJin hopefully the night before at PR1 in Preston at an Old Skool event, so that'll be my warm up
Lookin forward to meetin everyone at Park Hall

Has anyone actually decided on the Dress Code???
The flyer says "No Dresscode" but I think it was Jo on p1 said "No trackys and trainers"
Can we just clarify what the definate dress code is?
Like someone mentioned I don't wanna turn up in trackys and every one in Jeans/Shirt then get turned away and on the same note I don't wanna turn up in Jeans n shirt and everyone is in trackys...
Seems we have all gone off an a tangent and started chatting about our old outfits...
Thx in advance...

Right 'O'....Here we go with this issue :)
When we were in the early stages of sorting through ideas for the night, and putting together the things we wanted included...this was one of the issues that came up. From the beginning we all agreed to try our very best to try and re create everything possible that was 'Bowlers'. We got the dj's, it's up to you lot to turn up, to try and regain the atmosphere....
As we all know there was no dress code at Bowlers, we all wore whatever we felt comfortable in...Which we think is a big factor.....The more comfortable you feel, the better night youre gunna have! :D
So in answer to your question....There is no dresscode....but obviously...please try and stay smart, as I'm sure you all will. The last thing we want is to be known as the night where everyone wears bin bags!
*throws bin bag away with guttted look on face*
suited me that ya fooker

If everyone turns up in their trackies and trainers in this day and age, it's just gonna look like a bunch of scallies who hang about outside Spar have come to make their mark.
I, for one, will not be wearing a trackie or my trainers.
