First of all just wanted to say thank you to all the B2B crew for putting on the night. Its been over 10 years since I last went to Life and I didn't quite know what to expect.
Here is my take on the night;
Venue
Bit out of the way but very decent inside. Friendly, organised door staff and no problems with that fact my tickets didn't turn up as the bouncers had a list at the front door. (thanks Gaz)
Atmosphere
Friendly, happy, chatty and no attitudes. What more can you want?? I bought a few mates who had never been to Life before and at the end of the night everyone of them was buzzing on the atmosphere. Some points the dancefloor seemed a bit empty (especially when they opened the stage) but overall top notch.
Tunes
Missed the first couple of DJs due to the crash on the M61 (anyone see that??) so got there in time for Bowa. Really bought the memories flooding back when he dropped 'Gettin Out' into C&C Music Factory 'Keep It Comin'.
Stu Allan was always my least favourite DJ but I have to say on the night he played the best set, really got the crowd jumpin. Tune of the night for me was Vertigo droppin Papua New Guinea. :D :D
I must have missed the last hour or so due to friends being sick everywhere :mad: but overall had a top top night and will definately look out for the next one. Didn't manage to meet anybody off the board but hopefully next time!
Thanks again to everyone involved for allowing me to relive my youth and burn off some of the puppyfat thats attached itself to me now i'm officially middle aged. :badgrin:
